NOAHlink Kernel Upgrade
NOAHlink
works with an internal software called Kernel which can be upgraded using the NOAHlink properties program.
Although PFG can work with all NOAHlink Kernel versions installed by the NOAHlink properties program
versions 1.4.0 and later, we recommend updating to the latest NOAHlink properties program and NOAHlink
Kernel PFG 8.6a makes use of the NOAHlink Kernel enhancements which results in higher communication
speed and stability.

update instruction:
1.

the NOAHlink properties program version 1.50.04 directly from the PFG 8.6a installation CD under <CD- drive>:\Support\Himsa\NoahLink\NOAHlink Properties Program 1.50.04\Installation\setup.exe and follow the dialogs. If you have the latest NOAHlink properties program downloaded from HIMSA, please double-click the file and follow the instructions. |

| | Launch
the NOAHlink properties program from the Windows menu [Start] [Programs] [NOAHlink]. |

| | Select your NOAHlink and click [Connect]. |

| | Change
to the [Settings] tab and click [Advanced]. |

| | Change to the [Versions] tab and
click [Upgrade Kernel]. |

6.
| | The message Upgrading successful! completes the upgrade. |

| | | Close
the NOAHlink properties program.
